Baked Norwegian Clipfish

Baked Norwegian clipfish with vegetables and potatoes is a simple dish to make since everything is being cooked in the oven at once.

Procedure

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

  • Cut the clipfish into servings.

  • Finely chop garlic, and mix with olive and white pepper to a marinade.

  • Add the clipfish to the marinade and let marinade over night. Keep the marinade.

  • Cut incisions in the sides of the clipfish and place ham in the incisions.

  • Place in an oiled oven-proof dish.

  • Peel potatoes and boil in lightly salted water for 4-5 minutes.

  • Dice potatoes, slice onion, cut bell pepper in strips and tomatoes in wedges, and add to the oven-proof dish.

  • Sprinkle with a little paprika powder and pour over the marinade.

  • Bake in the oven for approx. 20 minutes.

Place the dish on the tables and serve.
