Oven-Baked Norwegian Saithe with Ginger and Asparagus

In this recipe the Norwegian saithe gets a new and Asian twist and is served with asparagus. Sesame oil also goes well with fish.

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

  • Cut the saithe in servings and place in a greased oven-proof dish.

  • Thinly slice fresh and pickled ginger, mix with peanut oil and soy sauce, and spread over the saithe.

  • Cover the dish with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for approx. 15 minutes.

  • Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with salt when the dish is done.

Serve with cooked asparagus.
