Pizza is a popular dish, but why not try a new topping next time? This variation with Norwegian prawns can be recommended.
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
Stir the yeast into lukewarm water, add oil, salt and most of the flour.
Work the dough until firm, and set to rise for approx. 20 minutes.
Roll the dough out on a baking tray with baking paper and let it rise for approx. 10 minutes.
Bake the pizza base in the oven for approx. 10 minutes, take it out and set the oven to 220 °C.
Finely chop onion and fennel.
Sauté onion in oil until shiny and add tomato purée.
Add fennel and canned tomatoes, and let the sauce simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes.
Finely chop chives and basil and add to the sauce when it is done.
Taste the sauce with a little salt, pepper and sugar.
Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza base and cover with cheese.
Sprinkle with oregano and bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes, until the cheese has a nice colour.
Take out the pizza, sprinkle with the prawns and bake in the oven for 1 minute more so the prawns get warm.
Serve the pizza fresh out of the oven.
