Raw Marinated Fjord Trout with Avocado Cream

This recipe is great to serve as an appetizer or as a tapas dish. The Fjord Trout's deep red color looks so tasty that you just have to try it.

Avocado cream


  • Cut the Fjord Trout in half along and cut each piece in slices of 2 mm. Every slice should be a mouthful. 

  • Zest and juice lime and drizzle lime juice over the Fjord Trout.

  • Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.

Avocado cream

  • Cut avocado in half, remove the seed and take out the avocadomeat with a spoon.

  • Mash the avocado to a even mash with olive oil.

  • Juice lemon, and taste the mash with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Put a little avocado cream on each Fjord Trout piece, garnish with lime zest and fresh herbs, and serve.
