Grilled Fjord Trout with Avocado Salsa and Lentils

Fjord Trout is perfect for grilling. Invite friends and family to a barbecue and serve grilled Fjord Trout with avodaco salsa and lentils.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Sprinkle salt on the Fjord Trout and leave for 10-15 minutes.

  • Rinse off the salt, gently dry with a paper towel and cut into portions.

  • Brush the Fjord Trout with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper.

  • Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Avocado salsa

  • Cut avocado and tomato in small dices, and finely chop red onion, garlic and chili.

  • Zest and juice lime.

  • Mix the ingredients, add olive oil and taste with salt and pepper.

  • Keep in the refrigerator until serving.

Serve with

  • Cook lentils as instructed on the package.

  • Drain well and add olive oil.

  • Finely chop parsley and basil, juice lemon and add to the lentils.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and keep covered with a lid until serving.

Serve freshly grilled Fjord Trout with avocado salsa and lentils.

Tip: The Fjord Trout can also be cook on a griddle pan.
