Preparation
- Set the oven to 200 °C.
- Cut the snow crab legs into pieces at the joints, then cut the pieces in half lengthwise so that the meat is exposed. Use either a sharp knife with some weight in it, or sharp scissors.
- Place the pieces of snow crab on a baking tray with the meat facing up.
Herb butter
- Finely chop the garlic and thyme, and process it smooth in a blender with room temperature butter, paprika powder, curry and pepper.
- Lather the herb butter over the snow crab meat and cook in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Squeeze over the lime juice before serving.
- Serve the snow crab with bread and a fresh salad.
Tip: Feel free to put the herb butter that is left on the baking tray in a bowl, and serve it on the side to dip the crab in.
