Christmas Flavoured Norwegian Salmon Tartar

This Norwegian salmon tartar is perfect if you are looking for something new and fresh for the Christmas dinner table.

  • Remove the skin and any bones. Cut the salmon in small cubes.

  • Peel and deseed the cucumber, then dice it finely. 

  • Mix pieces of salmon, mustard, cucumber and dill in a bowl.

  • Leave for around one hour so that the flavours are blended thoroughly.

  • It is nice to serve the tartar in glasses, half filled with ice.

  • Put a lettuce leaf on top of the ice and arrange the tartar on top. 

  • Squeeze a little bit of lemon on top. 

Serve with a thin slice of toasted baguette.
