This is a simple, but tasteful dish. When frying the onions in sugar and balsamic vinegar you get an amazing taste perfect for Norwegian salmon.
Peheat the oven to 200 °C.
Remove the hard part of the asparagus and cook in pan with olive oil over medium heat.
When tender, add salt and remove from the heat. Cut a couple asparagus in slices for garnish.
Peel and cut the onions in half and cook in a frying pan with olive oil until they are tender, but whole.
Add the sugar and balsamic vinegar, continue cooking with a lid for another 5 minutes.
Sprinkle salt on the Norwegian salmon loins and place in the oven for 3-4 minutes.
Serve the Norwegian salmon with asparagus and sour onions.
