Puff pastry parcels with Norwegian salmon and sesame seeds

A simple recipe created by Chiara Maci to bring out the delicate flavor of the salmon at cocktail hour!

Ingredients

Preparation

  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 large squares.

  • Fill with a chunk of salmon and a piece of mozzarella cheese, then seal carefully into a parcel (make a triangle and then bring the side corners together).

  • Brush with beaten egg, cover with sesame seeds and bake at 180° for 20 minutes.

Useful tip

Instead of the sesame seeds you could try black or wasabi sesame seeds for a touch of spice. For a fresher flavor, chop chives, mix with sour cream and serve with the warm parcels.
