Oven-Baked Norwegian Clipfish with Potatoes

This dish with Norwegian clipfish and potatoes is a simple dish to make since everything is being baked in the oven at once.

Procedure

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  • Finely chop garlic.

  • Place clipfish in an oven-proof dish, drizzle with olive oil and add garlic on top.

  • Wash potatoes and place them in a second oven-proof dish. 

  • Sprinkle the potatoes with salt.

  • Put both dishes in the oven for approx. 40 minutes. 

  • Baste the fish with the heated olive oil.

  • When the potatoes are baked, slightly crush them by using a kitchen cloth. 

  • Place the potatoes in the fish dish.

Cover both the fish and the potatoes with the heated olive oil and serve.
