These are the terms and conditions for the competition

Terms and conditions – Nigerian Stockfish Chef 2018

  1. The promoter of this competition is the Norwegian Seafood Council, located in Tromsø, Norway.
  2. The competition is open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 years or over exempt employees of the Norwegian Seafood Council and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation/judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via www.fromnorway.com/nigeria.
  6. Closing date for entry will be the 8th of October. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. The rules of the competition are as follows:
    • The submitted recipe must feature stockfish as a main ingredient, and the recipe is mine and I have the ownership of it.
    • The recipe will be presented in my name, and it must contain all the ingredients, units and preparation notes.
    • The recipe must be accompanied by an image of the complete dish which I have copyrights to.
    • By entering the competition I give the Norwegian Seafood Council the rights to use it on digital media and in promotional purposes.
  9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of actions outside of the promoter’s control.
  10. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  11. The prize is as follows: “The Nigerian Stockfish Chef of the year” will receive a non-disclosed material prize.
    The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  12. 5 winners will be chosen by a panel of qualified judges appointed by the promoter.
  13. The winners will be contacted by email on the 12th of October. The winners will be announced at the seafood festival at Lagos on Friday the 19th of October, and the winners has to collect the prize in person at Landmark. If the winner does not show up in person to collect the prize, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and  no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Norwegian Seafood Council and not to any other party.
